People have given Eve a bad rep for YEARS; for causing Adam to lose EV-ER-EE-THANG (*Kat Williams voice*) . In fact, the bad rep of Eve and that damn apple/orange/peach/WHATEVA is the
leading reason for why men don't trust women in their relationships today. But I looked at the text, and don't quite see the problem.
First, Eve is not just any ole woman; she is the rib/mirror of her partner. When he looks at her, he sees himself. He trust her as much as he trust himself; for she has EARNED his trust by living on the inside of him long enough to create a duplicate heart on the outside. Adam not trusting Eve (after ALL THAT) equates to him not trusting himself...IMPOSSIBLE!!
So I looked further at the text, seeking the ADVANTAGE of eating the fruit...and BAM!!!
When God asked Adam why he broke the rule, Adam says he followed the one that came from the inside of him. God has no follow up questions for Adam...
If you get caught up on the "punishment", you'll miss what happens next: God sews Adam a coat. The more translations your read, the coat gets longer and longer and Longer. THINK on it a little while and the long coat will become a robe. MEDITATE on it a few times and the long robe will turn white. DREAM about it a few weeks and that long white robe will be topped with a CROWN. Have a few VISIONS about it and you'll hear the words: BEHOLD, He Looks Just Like ME
